Ryan L. Gonda

TRUST OFFICER
Ryan L. Gonda joined Deseret Trust Company in May 2022. He previously worked as vice president of fiduciary services for an estate planning law firm, a trust officer for a corporate trust company, manager and policy analyst at various non-profit organizations, and a law clerk in Nevada District Court. He administers the online Donor-Advised Funds and facilitates non-standard asset gifts to Deseret Trust Company.

Ryan’s main responsibilities include:

  • Chair of the Donor-Advised Fund Task Force
  • Member of the following committees:
  • Account Acceptance and Termination
    • Discretionary Distributions
    • Investment Review
    • Regulatory Compliance

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor of Arts (History and Cultural Anthropology)—University of Nevada Reno
  • Juris Doctorate—Mississippi College School of Law
  • Member of the Salt Lake Estate Planning Council
  • Member of the National Association of Charitable Gift Planners (CGP)
  • Completing Cannon Trust School—CTFA (Certified Trust and Fiduciary Advisor)
  • Past member of the Northern Nevada Planned Giving Roundtable, Northern Nevada Estate Planning Council, and University of Nevada Planned Giving Advisory Council
